Coobara Riesling 2010

Winemaking
Machine harvested when fully ripe, the Riesling grapes were delivered to the winery at around 13° Baumé. The fruit was promptly crushed and pressed before being despatched for fermentation with specially selected yeast strains. The ferment was carried out in stainless steel and once completed the wine was clarified and stabilized, then bottled under screw-caps.
Tasting Notes
This delightful wine shows lifted lime and citrus notes with a slight hint of lavender. It has a very appealing flinty, mineral palate with green apple fruit characters up-front. Subtle apricot tones and crisp, refined acidity finish the wine off in a most refreshing manner.
